Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a vibrant and proactive Business Support Coordinator to join our innovative Future Students team. This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to be at the forefront of a thriving educational community and contribute to a period of exciting development.
You will play a key role in ensuring the University’s Kelburn-based Future Students team have the logistics in place to get out there and be successful. This permanent position, offering flexibility with four or five days per week, empowers you to provide top-notch customer service, efficient administrative support, and contribute to the success of diverse recruitment events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the on-site administrative backbone for the Future Students team in Wellington.
- Assist in organizing engaging recruitment events, both on and off campus, including delivering captivating campus tours.
- Take charge of financial administration, ensuring seamless payment processes, travel bookings, freighting and the team’s logistics.

Your ability to build strong working relationships and provide administrative support to the team will set you apart. Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service within an autonomous environment.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Office 365 applications and CRM systems.
- Preferred experience in an educational environment.
