The role/Te mahi As the Business Support Co-ordinator for Te Whai Ao — Dodd-Walls Centre (DWC), you will coordinate a range of business development and administrative activities for the centre, and provide proactive and professional support to the Programme Manager and Business Development Manager This role guarantees variety and will include: Your skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako To be successful in this role you will have: Our team delivers at a high standard. While experience working within a research institute would be an advantage, it is not essential. About our team/Mō te tīma The DWC is a Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE), based in the Physics Department and hosted by the University of Otago. As a CoRE, we have over 200 researchers and students from six partner universities, working in quantum optics, photonics, biophotonics and precision atomic physics. Our Centre engages in educational outreach and commercialisation activities. Further details/Pūroko This is a full-time (37.5 hours), permanent position, located in Dunedin.
