LearnWell is a new brand launching 25th July, incorporating ESA publications and iQualify for schools products. LearnWell provides customers with a seamless experience, support and expertise to get the right resource in the right format, to get the right outcome for learners.  They cover primary to secondary aged students with design led print and digital resources for teachers and learners. 

This position is based in the secondary school sector and would suit someone with a knowledge of the sector. You will be responsible for the formulation and execution of a nationwide strategy for growing sales of our online learning products.  We will fully train you in the education software solution, and mentor you while you get up to speed. You will be part of a small team who are driving transformation in the education sector. This role can be based anywhere in New Zealand. 

The role will include: 

  • Creating and implementing a strategy for national roll out of products and services
  • Delivering against targets across a defined pipeline of prospects.
  • Developing new client business relationships, generating and negotiating new income to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
  • Managing and maintaining a sales pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is current and up to date
  • Creating and being accountable for all client proposals, and other documentation requirements
  • Monitoring and reporting on the commercial performance of each account within your portfolio.
  • Establishing and leveraging productive, professional relationships with clients

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

ESA Publications is New Zealand's largest educational publisher. It is a subsidiary of the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand Ltd. From July 2022, ESA Publications will operate as LearnWell and will focus on selling both print and digital resources to schools, teachers, parents and students. 

We are also a subsidiary of Te Pūkenga - New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology, together with all other Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics in Aotearoa New Zealand. Set up as part of the Government's Reform of Vocational Education , Te Pūkenga is creating a national network of online, on-campus and on-job learning.
