Te mahi/The role

As the Bicultural Programme Lead, you will support staff who are enthusiastically engaging with our newly launched Te Rito programme, backed by the University.

Te Rito is an exciting new resource with interactive online learning modules and in person wānanga.  Aligning with our bicultural journey, promoting understanding and responsiveness.  Your focus will be on engaging learners and stakeholders and supporting learner success.

You will:
•    Co-ordinate and deliver the Te Rito programme across the University.
•    Welcome and inclusively support staff who are engaging with programme learning.
•    Facilitate both in-person and online wānanga, promoting bicultural understanding and responsiveness to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Kā pūkeka me kā wheako /Your skills and experience

•    facilitating, supporting and encouraging adult learning
•    coordination of learning offerings
•    establishing and maintaining respectful relationships knowledge of Tikanga Māori
•    contemporary knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

There is no expectation that you have previous experience or engagement with the Te Rito programme to undertake this role.

Pūroko/Further details

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent position, located in Dunedin.
