- Work Monday 8.30am-3pm, Tues, Wed and Thursday 8.30am-2.30pm (can be flexible)

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
The role of Animal Technician is to provide technical assistance in the care, maintenance and preparation of animal subjects used in research and teaching to the School of Psychology, Speech and Hearing.
Mōu | Who You Are
You have experience working in a facility caring for a variety of species of animals, (preferably a facility compliant with the requirements of the Animal Welfare Act 1999 and the Biosecurity Act 1993). It is preferred if you had experience working in a research environment.
You have completed a minimum introductory Animal Care qualification or are willing to study towards one.
You are self-motivated and have demonstrated an ability for managing time and resources effectively. You have excellent interpersonal skills, to effectively work with a wide variety of people.
