Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Administrator in Wellington School of Architecture. We are looking for an energetic, service-oriented individual who can deliver high-quality, timely and accurate postgraduate student and academic administration.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people from diverse cultural backgrounds and a proven track record in providing administration in a complex, fast-paced environment. You will be a team player who is self-motivated and has the ability to prioritise.

Key Requirements:

  • Sound administrative skills, based on 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Experience in a tertiary environment and working with students.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining administration procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in a range of computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Proven ability to work independently, use initiative, and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
