We are seeking a motivated Office Administrator to join the Vice-Chancellor's Office at AUT, one of New Zealand's leading universities.

This varied and exciting position will see you front and centre of a small but dynamic executive team that supports the Vice-Chancellor. You'll be comfortable receiving VIP guests, managing high level events, arranging travel, and administering finance.

To be successful you will need:

  • Office administration experience including reception
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Impeccable communication skills including strong punctuation and grammar
  • A customer-service mindset with a can-do attitude
  • An ability to work independently and within a team
  • Initiative, and a willingness to adapt and learn
  • The ability to prioritise a wide variety of tasks with conflicting deadlines with grace and composure

A tertiary qualification is desirable, preferably with a few years of experience but a fresh, highly motivated recent graduate will also be considered.
