The role/Te mahi

As an Administrator for Pathway and English Language Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting academic excellence at the University of Otago.
You will provide a range of administrative activities, including meeting support, organising travel, assisting with monthly reporting and academic timetables.
This is a busy, student-facing role, with lots of variety. You will need to be able to multi-task and prioritise well.

You will work with a diverse team of administrators supporting corporate services across the University and may be required to assist in other areas as needed.
You will be based in our new, state-of-the art facility in the Otago Business School.

Along with excellent administration skills, a strong customer service focus is critical to success in this role.

About our team/Mō te tīma

Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professional staff, responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience to all the University’s internal and external customers.

This is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours) position, based in Dunedin.

The appointments range for this role is $59,285 to $63,651. Top of Range $68,744.

We also have Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions available. These roles are part of the Administrator function but in addition they support the implementation of the Māori Strategic Framework activities, the University’s commitment to the success of Māori students and staff and contribute to a culture of whakawhanaungatanga in our workplaces. These positions are remunerated at Level 5, with the appointment range $65,281 to $69,648.
