Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Accreditation and Business Analyst in the Office of the Dean, Wellington School of Business and Government on a fixed-term contract until February 2023 due to parental leave. The role will support the Associate Dean, International & Accreditation, by contributing to the portfolio responsibility held by this position, as well as participating in the strategic priorities of the Business School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Associate Dean, International & Accreditation to develop updated policies and practices relating to WSBG’s international staff and student exchanges and other activities.
  • Collect and collate data pertaining to the WSBG’s accreditation processes and reports.
  • Assist the Associate Dean, International & Accreditation to maintain and develop lines of communication with other international and accreditation activities in other faculties and parts of the University.

You will be a highly organised analytical thinker and natural relationship builder, who relishes working autonomously as well as contributing positively to a high-performing team. You will need effective time management and forward planning to balance meeting deadlines and project goals, alongside the ability to maintain a high standard of service.

Key Requirements:

  • Commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and tikanga Māori.
  • Ability to gather, validate and interpret data from a wide variety of sources.
  • An understanding of database management and proven data analytical skills.
  • Ability to write clearly and communicate ideas concisely in varying situations and formats.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and planning skills.
