Job description
Are you a veterinarian for companion animals with a special interest in anaesthesiology and open to a new challenge? We are looking for a new colleague to join our international and dynamic anaesthesiology team at Utrecht University. 
The veterinary anaesthesiologist has an active role in communicating with fellow vets, owners, anaesthesiologists, paraveterinarians and students. Giving clinical instruction to and supervising residents is an important part of the job. You will be part of the hospital's anaesthesiology team that supports the clinic and performs sedation and general anaesthesia.

The anaesthesiology team currently consists of a candidate specialist (ECVAA), 2 interns anaesthesiologist, 6 veterinarian anaesthesiologist, 6 anaesthesiology technicians/ paraveterinarians, and 2 rotating interns as well as a supporting administration.



Qualifications

To reinforce the anaesthesia department for companion animals, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated veterinarian who preferably already has some experience in the clinical anaesthesia of companion animals.


Offer

We offer a temporary position (0.8 - 1.0 FTE) for one year in an international working environment. The gross salary - depending on previous qualifications and experience  - ranges between €2,960 and €5.439 (scale 10 or 11 according to the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities) per month for a full-time employment. After a positive evaluation, the agreement will be extended. Salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% per year.
