Specifics position 1
Area of Competence (AoC): political and social philosophy, and ethics.
The successful candidate will teach courses in political and social philosophy, ethics and/or philosophical anthropology in the Philosophy BA and MA Programs. The candidate will also coordinate or be involved in teaching major courses on ethics or political philosophy in non-philosophy Bachelor programs. If suitable this may include a course on ethics and artificial intelligence required for students in the Bachelor program Cognitive and Artificial Intelligence. Thesis supervision will also be part of their tasks. Fluency in Dutch (C2) is an advantage for this position.
Specifics position 2
Area of Competence (AoC): Philosophy of (social) science, epistemology, philosophy of mind or theoretical philosophy.
The successful candidate will coordinate or be involved in teaching major courses on philosophy of science and/or philosophy of mind in non-philosophy Bachelor programs. If suitable this may include a course on philosophy of mind in the Bachelor program Psychology. The successful candidate will also teach on their area of competence in the Master and Bachelor philosophy program. Thesis supervision will also be part of their tasks. Fluency in Dutch (C2) is an advantage for this position.

This may include the course “Philosophy of Public Governance”. The candidate will also coordinate or be involved in teaching major courses on ethics or political philosophy in non-philosophy Bachelor programs. This may include the course “Philosophy of Administrative Studies” in the Bachelor Administration Studies. Thesis supervision will also be part of their tasks. Fluency in Dutch (C2) is an advantage for this position.
