We are looking for three female scientists to become part of the Christine Mohrmann Fellowship Programme. The Faculty of Science at Radboud University (Nijmegen, The Netherlands) initiated the Christine Mohrmann Fellowship programme in 2016 to attract and promote talented women with outstanding potential in the natural sciences or other areas of science, including mathematics and computer science. Three Mohrmann professorships are available in the Faculty of Science. The faculty's highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment offers exceptional research and teaching opportunities to independent and motivated female scientists.

As one of our Professors you show evidence of academic leadership and the ability to work collaboratively with members of a multi-disciplinary team and senior colleagues across the university. Depending on your performance and seniority, you will be appointed at the Associate (UHD) or Full Professor level. The professorship includes an attractive start-up package (to be specified further, depending on the field of research), an excellent guidance and peer-to-peer programme, and arrangements to balance your work and private life.

We ask • You are an inspiring female scholar, teacher and staff member with a solid scientific background. • You can show an exemplary research record in a relevant field of our institutes, as evidenced by national and international peer recognition. • You can outline your long-term vision of the field's development. • You are an excellent teacher, with experience in developing and providing courses at both Bachelor's and Master's programme level. • You know where to find and how to acquire external funding. • You possess leadership/management skills and highly developed supervision, executive and organisational abilities.

We offer • A position at Radboud University in which your curiosity can thrive and where you and your knowledge facilitate student excellence. • This is an appointment for 32 to 40 hours per week. You are offered a permanent contract. • You will receive a salary that matches your job profile. On a 38-hour working week salary scale H2 applies, with a maximum gross monthly salary of €8,371. The exact salary depends on your qualifications and relevant work experience. • Depending on your performance and seniority, you will be appointed at the Associate (UHD, scale 14) or Full Professor level (scale H2). • In addition to the salary: an 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% end-of-year bonus. • At our university you receive extra days off, as standard 29 or 40 vacation days instead of the legally stipulated 20. • If you have specific needs in combining your work and private life, you can make arrangements with your supervisor on flexible working hours and working from home. • You will be able to use our Dual Career and Family Care Services. The first round of online interviews will take place in the weeks starting Monday 20 and 27 September. The second round of interviews will take place at the end of October.

The selection committee consists of scientists representing the various disciplines in the Faculty of Science.
