|||
At the Toxicology Division of the Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS), we aim to improve the scientific basis of chemical risk assessment through fundamental and applied innovative research, teaching and training in mechanistic and predictive toxicology. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative technician to achieve these goals and strengthen our Toxicology Division, which is made up of 4 research groups: Endocrine, Immune and Neurotoxicity and Exposure Assessment. You will be working mainly in the Endocrine Toxicology Research Group. This research group is focused on investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms of action of endocrine disrupting chemicals using in vitro approaches and zebrafish. You will support students and (PhD) researchers working on diverse projects that aim to investigate the potential adverse effects of diverse environmental chemicals on endocrine-related disease and disorders. Examples of these projects include the European projects GOLIATH , AURORA and the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC). |

Offer |
|||
We offer a temporary position (0.8 - 1.0 FTE) for one year in an international working environment. After positive evaluation, this can be turned into a permanent position. The gross salary - depending on previous qualifications and experience - ranges between €2,471 and €4,257 (scale 7-9 according to the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities) per month for a full-time employment. Salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% per year. |
