Student Assistent Video Editing

Do you have a passion for video? Do you have an eye for images and are you good with a camera? If yes, we are looking for you!

ICAI (Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence) is looking for an enthusiastic student Assistant video editing (0.2 FTE) from 1 September for a period of 6 months. The student assistant will be part of our team at the University of Amsterdam and will be working directly with the Communication manager to discuss the content that has to be created. Monthly we create content of our partners to showcase the impact that they are making with their research.

The Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence (ICAI) brings together partners in academia, industry, and government to develop AI knowledge and talent that aims to make significant contributions to sustainable growth and societal good in the Netherlands.

What are you going to do?
As a video editor, you will be responsible for producing videos for our social media channels. Your main task will mainly be to edit (and subtitle) interviews of different stakeholders within our ecosystem. It can also happen that you might be sent out (together with a colleague) to shoot the content.

Besides editing videos, you may also be asked to help develop and publish (graphic) content on our website. Experience with Wordpress, Canva and/or Photoshop is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Your profile:

  • You are a student for the full period (at a University or University of Applied Sciences);
  • You have experience with Adobe Premiere Pro;
  • You have excellent communication skills in English;
  • You are sociable and you enjoy working together, but can also work well independently;
  • You are eager to learn, you can't wait to improve your video/montage/interview/etc.;
  • You are good with a camera and know how to take nice shots;
  • Graphic skills and/or experience with web design is a plus, but not a must.

Our offer

The gross monthly salary, based on 38 hours per week and dependent on relevant experience, ranges between € 2,618 € 2,846 (scale SA). This does not include 8% holiday allowance and 8,3% year-end allowance. The UFO profile Student assistent is applicable. A favourable tax agreement, the ‘30% ruling’, may apply to non-Dutch applicants. The

Collective Labour Agreement of Universities of the Netherlands

is applicable.
