Job description

In addition to debates and lectures in 3D, the VU's debate and dialogue center, we organize the 'Life is better in 3D' social events for students. 'Life is better in 3D' are accessible events and excursions for students. For example, we organize the weekly Life is better in 3D board game evenings, but also movie nights, Open Mic nights and the I got Plants workshops. To organize existing and new events for students, we are looking for an enterprising, super social and dedicated student who is bursting with energy and great ideas ready to organize for our student community.

Your duties

• Organizing events in the 3D space
• Hosting meetings in 3D
• Create new ideas for events in 3D
• Collaborate with other student assistant
• Guiding excursions with students
Creating a monthly events calendar
• Creating Insta Posts
• Contribute to promotion 3D events

Requirements

• You are a student at VU
• Great organizational skills
• Even greater socials skills
• Has an open attitude towards diversity and inclusion
• Works well with others
• Feels responsible for the work
• Is flexibly deployable (most events are in the evening on campus)
• Proactive and ebthousiastic
• Helpful and great hospitality skills
• Knows their way with Instagram and other socials

What are we offering?

A fun and unique workplace, a challenging position at a socially involved organization.

Depending on the academic year, the salary on a full-time basis is a minimum of €2,310 and a maximum of €2,511 gross per month. The position is classified according to UFO profile: Student Assistant and is open to 0.4 FTE.

The employment contract will be entered into from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023.
In addition, the VU offers attractive secondary employment conditions and arrangements that enable a good combination of work and private life, such as:
• a maximum of 41 vacation days with full-time employment
• 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% year-end bonus
