Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is one of Europe's top universities of technology, situated at the heart of a most innovative high-tech region. Thanks to a wealth of collaborations with industry and academic institutes, TU/e's research has real-world impact. TU/e has around 3,000 employees, 1600 PhD candidates and 250 Engineering Doctorate (EngD) trainees.

Innovation is the driving force behind the high-tech industry. Close collaboration between industry and universities is crucial for innovation. For this, we need excellent engineers. Our two-year post-master technological designer programs train the most talented graduates that already have a Master degree in a relevant area. The programs are aimed at engineers who want to further develop their skills in the field of technological design and who want to contribute to the needs of the high-tech industry by developing innovative solutions. EngD programs offer trainees the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and experience by means of a personal and practical design assignment with an industrial partner, under the supervision of experienced scientific design professionals. These programs all lead to an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) .
