Job description

The Information Management and Services department is responsible for the full range of IT services of our university.
Realizing IT innovations is an important but complex field. IT project management is an important success factor in this renewal and is the engine for the change operation. We are looking for an experienced IT project manager who can drive this change and has experience in the technical IT domain (Networking, Server, Storage and Virtualization). Also, knowledge of soft-, middleware development and cloud services is important in this position.
As IT Project manager you will play a key role in the successful completion of IT projects within the TU/e. Therefore, you are responsible and will work closely together with different internal and external stakeholders (managers within IT business, architects, product owners etc). Are you organizational-sensitive, experienced in the agile way of working and do you have in-dept IT infrastructure knowledge? We are looking for you!
Job requirements
Your tasks will consist of:
- Being in charge of the daily management of an IT project, the associated project organization and for drawing up project documentation (Business Case, Project Initiation Documents, Progress reports, etc.);
- Being responsible for project communication and required change management;
- Actively contributing to the design and professionalization of the IT landscape within the TU/e;
- We are currently in transition to the agile way of working, you will have an active role in this.
Who are you:
- Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor degree in Informatics or similar;
- Experienced in technical IT Infrastructure domain;
- Proven experience in managing medium to large IT projects;
- Certified (Prince2 or IPMA and Scrum);
- Proven experience in a public organization is an advantage Excellent analytical skills and able to adopt and thrive in a dynamic environment;
- Good written and oral communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- You are enthusiastic, customer and result orientated, a team player with a proactive attitude.

- The salary is in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement of the Dutch Universities and depending on education and work experience, salary scale 11 with a minimum €3.807,= and maximum of scale 12 €5.922,= (CAO-NU);
- We offer a one year contract, with prospect of permanent position;
- An attractive package of fringe benefits, including excellent work facilities, extra holiday allowance 8% in May, end-of-year bonus of 8.3% in December and 41 holidays per year.
