This large, interdisciplinary project runs from June 2021 to June 2026 and is part of the Dutch Research Agenda programme, with a budget of over 10 million Euros funding from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO). The project consortium is made up of 33 partners with diverse expertise including toxicology, medicine, regulation, data sciences and social sciences, from academia, private and public sector organizations. The Project Manager forms an integral part of the coordination team of the project. In addition to VHP4Safety, you will also be involved in the management of selected European and national projects, coordinated by the division, including the H2020 project GOLIATH .

These processes include (financial) planning and reporting, monitoring and control, contract management and compliance, archive management, and project meeting organization. You will work closely with our faculty's Research Support Office, and with the Office of the Strategic Theme Life Sciences, and serve as the main point of contact for our partners and funding agencies. Communication and organization play a big role in your job; you will help develop and execute project internal and external communication strategies, together with our faculty's Communication Department. Scoping new funding initiatives and supporting the preparation of new grant applications is also part of your work.
