QuTech is a mission-driven research institute run jointly by Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO). Together, we work on a radically new technology with world-changing potential, developing scalable prototypes of a quantum computer and an intrinsically safe quantum internet.
We are creating the quantum future and we believe that quantum technology will be a game changer in many social and economic sectors – including health, agriculture, climate and safety. To achieve our ambitious goals, we bring together scientists, engineers and industry in an inspiring environment, with plenty of space for ambition, entrepreneurship and innovation.
We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team.
As a Project Manager, you will be the interface between the QuTech scientific staff, engineers, external partners and funding providers. You will coordinate national and international projects, ensuring good communication and a smooth project development from A to Z. You will be reporting to the Quantum Computing Division Coordinator.
This unique opportunity will allow you to be challenged, develop new skills and to work in a unique international setting, where ground-breaking scientific discovery in the field of quantum communication is happening.
Your daily responsibilities will be:
- Setting-up and monitoring projects planning
- Working hands-in-hands with different departments from QuTech / TU Delft (project office, financial, procurement…).
- Collecting input for project reports (scientific publications and updates from partners, financial status, plans) and creating comprehensive workable drafts.
- Supporting media related activity for projects (posts in social media, newsletters).
- Keeping inventory of the research equipment’s / project materials and helping with specific acquisitions / procurement.
- Participating in new projects acquisition.
- Overseeing the organization of events and official visits at QuTech.
