Updated: about 2 years ago
Deadline: 17 Apr 2022

Are you interested in the intersection of language and cognitive functioning? As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Donders Centre for Cognition, you have the chance to investigate the relationship between the domains of memory and language. In a vibrant community of experts, you can make a meaningful scientific contribution in the field of cognitive neuroscience, electrophysiology, and language research.

As a member of the Language Function and Dysfunction group at the Donders Centre for Cognition, you will help develop a conceptual and analytical framework to study interactions between the domains of memory and language under the supervision of Dr Vitória Piai. You will develop experiments and analysis pipelines for FieldTrip or MNE-Python (or similar code-based toolboxes). You will also analyse data, write papers, and present your work at scientific meetings. There is budget allocated for assistance with data collection. You will also be expected to help supervise Master's students and PhD candidates, being involved in the conceptual as well as analytical aspects of their work. You will have access to all experimental facilities at the Donders Institute, which is also the home of the FieldTrip toolbox, so there is plenty of opportunity for real-life interaction with the FieldTrip team and the main developers.
