Then join the world-renowned Donders Institute as a postdoctoral researcher and work with top-notch experimental equipment to understand the neural mechanisms of sensory processing in complex multisensory environments.
Your research involves studying the eye-head gaze-orienting control system in complex multisensory re-orienting sensorimotor tasks in healthy volunteers and sensory deprived patients. Buzzwords: computational modelling, optimal control, multisensory integration, moving sounds, vestibular stimulation. Our mission is to understand the neural mechanisms of sensory processing and goal-directed motor control in complex multisensory environments, in health and disease. You will perform advanced psychophysical studies (recordings of 3D eye-head motor responses) with unique, top-notch experimental equipment.
