Do you want to contribute to combatting the coronavirus? As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will aim to develop new antiviral lead compounds against SARS CoV-2. This way, your research has an important application to our current society and future.

Applicants are invited for a one-year postdoctoral researcher position on a project on antiviral small molecules. This position is available at the Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM).
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team aiming to develop new antiviral lead compounds against SARS CoV-2. You will be involved in the design and synthesis of new compounds, but you will also strongly interact with project partners that perform the biological evaluation of these compounds. Besides organic synthesis, experience with medicinal chemistry and/or computer-aided drug design is advantageous. We offer you a challenging project, in which you will have the opportunity to contribute to combating the coronaviruses.
