You will be employed by the University of Groningen. You will work together with Cecília Salgado, Valentijn Karemaker, and Steffen Müller, and you will have regular interactions with all consortium members, for instance via our monthly seminars.
Each of the three consortium institutions has a very active algebraic geometry and number theory research group: Groningen, Leiden, Utrecht. You will have ample opportunity to participate in events organised by the consortium as well as other national events. Funding is also available to support travel to conferences and workshops abroad.
We offer you in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities:
- a full-time (1.0 FTE) postdoc position of 2 to 4 years
- starting date September 1, 2023, or a later date upon agreement
- a full-time gross salary ranging from € 3,557 to € 4,670 gross per month (scale 10)
- benefits including 8% holiday bonus and 8.3% end-of-year bonus
- a pension scheme, partially paid parental leave, and flexible employment conditions based on the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities. (https://www.universiteitenvannederland.nl/en_GB/cao-universiteiten.html )
In addition to the employment conditions laid down in the CAO for Dutch Universities, the proposed home institution has a number of own arrangements ranging from professional development and leave arrangements to sports.
