Location: AMSTERDAM
FTE: 0.8 - 0,8

Job description

In the current socio-economic-political global context, we believe that critical insights into diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) are more needed than ever. The term "woke culture" means a movement or set of beliefs that emphasizes social awareness, activism, and challenging systemic injustices. While this woke culture is often associated with progressive values and advocating for marginalized groups, there are several critical debates surrounding this concept. One of the most prominent debates surrounding woke culture revolves around ‘cancel culture’. Critics argue that the movement's tendency to call out and publicly shame individuals or institutions for perceived transgressions can stifle free speech, discourage open dialogue, and create a climate of fear.
