    We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Post-Doc researcher in Human Factors (24 months, with the possibility to extend the contract up to 36 months) to join our team at CODE (Cognition, Data, and Education) in partnership with ProRail (the Dutch national railway infrastructure manager).

    Our goal is to change the domain of Transport, working with the most relevant companies at the European level. We strive to explore the next-generation of rail Traffic Management Systems (TMS) and Automatic Train Operation (ATO) using sophisticated human-in-the-loop simulators and performing groundbreaking research on Human Factors.

    You will play a major role in forefront research activities to support the integration and craft the future of EU mobility. This position requires the ability to manage complex work activities and perform well under pressure.

    We will work with the members of Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking seeking to establish standard approaches to assess, compare and benchmark human performance, behavior, and decision-making in interaction with AI systems and to modeling of the socio-technical impact of future technological solutions on railway systems.
