Post Doc 'Food Quality Management'

We are looking for

Are you a scientist passionate about food quality? Are you interested in the recent developments in quality assurance, digitalisation and circularity in food safety management systems, food safety culture and fraud?  Do you like to enhance our interdisciplinary research principles in the food quality management area? Then this position at the Food Quality and Design group might be the place for you. You will have the possibility to develop your own research ideas and contribute to our research and education activities.

What are you going to do:
-Develop your own research area;  acquiring funds and collaborating with other leading research group at international level
-Take responsibility for developing new materials for our master courses, lecturing and coaching students groups
- Supervise MSc thesis students and internships
-Support PhD students
-Actively contribute to ongoing projects and collaborate with other scientists within FQD and other chairs at Wageningen University

We ask

-You have a PhD degree
- You have working experience in quality assurance in the food  sector or equivalent experience in a research institute or industrial research setting
-You have a very strong motivation to grow in an academic environment
-You have some experience in working in complex education organization
-You are proactive and willing to work on multidisciplinary projects with scientists with different backgrounds
-You have effective professional communication skills in English
