Neuroscience has a key role in addressing some of the most pressing challenges that we face in Europe today. Brain research is providing solutions for society at large. The challenge can be the translation of fundamental research to advance the state of the art in the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of brain disorders, or explaining the complex interactions between the brain, individuals and their environments to design novel practices in cities, schools, hospitals or companies. Neuroscience has a great promise to provide brain-inspired solutions that could benefit society and kindle a new economy in Europe. NeurotechEU aims to be the backbone of this vision, shaping the university of the future and pushing the boundaries of knowledge.

NeurotechEU seamlessly integrates internationalisation, cross-continental innovation, higher education, research and business. We envisage integrated and open study programmes and hope to contribute to the emergence of European degrees. By pooling educational and training capacity, and utilising next generation virtual exchange and modern mobility, we intend to increase cooperation between students and researchers.
