We are looking for

Are you the coordinating talent that the Donders Institute is looking for? As a Management Assistant, you will support the management team and scientists of this world-class research institution so they can be the best they can be.

You will work closely with the Chair and the Management Director of the Institute and will act as a central point of contact for queries from staff, students and external parties. You will work closely within a team of management assistants, each with their own responsibilities. Your duties will include preparing and taking minutes of meetings, preparing the weekly newsletters, keeping the website up to date, doing administrative work, and organising and supervising events and various meetings. Lastly, you will handle telephone calls and emails and manage (complex) agendas.

We ask

• Fluency in spoken and written English and Dutch.
• Above average office ICT skills.
• Proactive, accurate, balanced and result-oriented approach.
• Well organised, resourceful and able to keep an overview while being flexible to meet all task related goals.
• Preferably, you are used to working in a science environment with academic staff or have experience working in a large organisation.

We offer

• Employment: 0.8 -1.0 FTE.
• The gross monthly salary amounts to a minimum of € 2,367 and a maximum of € 3,196 based on a 38-hour working week, depending on previous education and number of years of relevant work experience (salary scale 7 ).
• In addition to the salary: an 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
• Duration of the contract: 1 year, with a view to a permanent position.
• The intended start date is 15 October 2021.
