Lecturer Information Sciences / Business Information Systems (2 positions)

Hours per week:              32 - 40 hours

Job description
The candidate will be responsible for teaching various topics related to Business Information Systems in the “Information Sciences” (IS) Bachelor and Master programmes.  Moreover, the candidate has affinity with current and new research in the field of Business Information Sciences and will be embedded into a research group within the department.

Your duties
● develop and teach IS related bachelor courses such as Conceptual Modelling, Requirements Engineering, Information Management, Service Science, ICT4D, Research Methods etc.
● supervise BSc and MSc Information Sciences thesis projects
● contribute to administrative tasks of the department related to education
Requirements
● completed PhD in Information Sciences or closely related field
● proven track record in academic teaching

We offer a challenging position in a socially involved organization. On full-time basis the remuneration amounts to a minimum gross monthly salary of € 3,389.- and a maximum € 4,978.- in accordance with salary scale 10 and 11, depending on your education and experience. The job profile (Docent 4 or 3) is based on the university job ranking system and is vacant for 0.8 to 1.0 FTE.

The employment contract will affect a period of 2.5 years.
