LEAPS - Leiden Observatory/ESA Astrophysics Program for Summer Students

Leiden Observatory and European Space Agency's ESTEC (European Space Research and Technolog Centre) invite applications for the Astrophysics Program for Summer Students (LEAPS) 2023. LEAPS is open to university students of any nationality not enrolled in a PhD program. In 2023, LEAPS will run in-person for 10 weeks from June 5 to August 11, where selected students will be supervised by the research staff at Leiden Observatory and ESA ESTEC on one of the 11 projects on offer in astronomy and space science.

Students accepted into the LEAPS program will be provided with travel costs to/from Leiden, housing accommodation near the Observatory, as well as a modest stipend to help with living costs during the internship.

The deadline to submit application forms and reference letters is February 20, 2023.
