The candidate will become a member of the Entrepreneurship section at U.S.E., which is involved in teaching at Bachelor's and Master's level. Its research programme revolves around Entrepreneurship and Society: how entrepreneurial behaviour at individual, organization, industrial and international levels creates value to society at large, and how this behaviour can be explained and leveraged by decision-makers. Specific research pillars include entrepreneurial ecosystems, innovation and entrepreneurial behaviour, social and sustainable entrepreneurship, and internationalization of entrepreneurship. The section founded the Utrecht Center for Entrepreneurship and the Utrecht University Social Entrepreneurship Initiative and is involved in the European Center for Alternative Finance and the Sustainable Finance Lab.
