As a member of our team of ICT developers and data stewards, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patient registries are complete, accurate, and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable).

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing systems to automatically fill patient registrations from source systems such as EPIC and LIMS. You will also work on making existing and future datasets and cohorts FAIR available, which will enable us to conduct groundbreaking research projects on AI and data-driven care.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the training of clinicians, scientists, and students in digital skills, helping to create a learning health care system. Are you an experienced IT developer with a knack for problem-solving? Do you have a proven track record of developing data infrastructure and data management solutions? Are you able to build bridges between people from different disciplines, and translate their needs into usable IT solutions?

We're looking for someone just like you to join our team! As an IT developer, you'll be working in the healthcare sector, developing solutions that will directly impact the lives of patients and researchers. You'll need to have a solid understanding of IT systems like EPIC and Castor, as well as programming skills in a relevant language.

In addition to technical skills, you'll need to be an excellent communicator, able to work with people from different backgrounds and disciplines. You'll also need to be proactive, taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving and staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments.

We're looking for someone who understands the importance of the FAIR principles and knows how to implement them. It would be great if you had a broad network within the Radboudumc and share our commitment to excellence and teamwork.

At Radboud university medical center, you will be given trust, and you will take the responsibility to handle everything together.

  • A gross monthly salary between € 3.230 and € 5.088 (scale 10) based on full-time employment.
  • From 1 November 2023 the wages will increase by 4%.
  • An annual vacation allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
  • If you work irregular hours, you will receive an allowance.
  • As a full-time employee (36 hours per week), you are entitled to approximately 168 vacation hours (over 23 days) per year.
  • Radboud university medical center pays 70% of the pension premium. You pay the rest of the premium with your gross salary.
