Job description

As program coordinator education you are responsible for the coordination and organization of the enormous palette of the departmental education activities of the APSE. You are involved in the development of the educational program, identify bottlenecks and investigate possible improvements in the design and implementation of education. You are able to collect appropriate management information, link key figures and steering numbers and analyze them. You maintain the educational information on the digital study guide, the digital learning environment Canvas and the department website. You are also involved in information activities for students and teachers. 

In addition, you have an active role in coordinating and organizing the staffing (teachers and PhD’s) and facilities required for the optimal running of the educational organization, both logistically and financially. You will also coordinate a wide range of other educational support projects and processes. Some examples are the coordination and monitoring of bachelor and master projects, the learning lines of professional skills and 'employability' and the PhD tracking system 'Hora Finita' within the TU/e Graduate School. You will energetically take on all further tasks that fit within the UFO profile of the position of Education Coordinator.
You collaborate closely with the program director AP, the manager of ESA AP/EE, the education coordinators AP and EE and various other colleagues within the team ESA AP/EE.


Job requirements

Do you have a completed higher professional or academic education and/or work experience at a comparable level? And do you have affinity with coordinating (educational) activities? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for!

Conditions of employment

This job concerns a temporary appointment via EUFLEX (TU/e secondment agency) for a period of 6 to 12 months for a minimum of 24 hours per week. The salary amounts, depending on your knowledge and experience, from € 2.960,-  to maximum € 4.670,- gross per month based on a full-time appointment (salary scale 10 CAO Dutch Universities). We offer excellent benefits, including a fixed end-of-year bonus of 8.3%, a vacation allowance of 8%, 41 paid holidays at a fulltime 40 hour workweek, various training and education opportunities plus excellent sports facilities.
