Are you an experienced scholar and teacher in the area of sustainable value chain management with an interest in how shared and sustained value chain participation can address grand challenges and transform systems? Would you like to share your expertise and contribute to our interdisciplinary profile on Responsible Organisation? Join us at the Nijmegen School of Management as an Associate Professor.
The department of Business Administration at the Nijmegen School of Management, Radboud University, is looking for an Associate Professor of Sustainable Value Chain Management with an interest in managing interorganisational relations responsibly. We are particularly looking for scholars with substantial knowledge of sustainable value chains where companies are pledging to procure the materials and services they need from those committed to fair labour practices and environmental protections. Hence, your research and teaching should address the creation of sustainable practices in the value network, including lower-tier suppliers, such as responsible sourcing, labour conditions, waste management system and circular economy.
We offer an integral Business Administration study programme focusing on societal problems and social processes in and between organisations. Our interdisciplinary research programme on Responsible Organisation addresses the multiple values underlying responsibility, the conditions required to realise those values and interventions geared to the transition of organising for responsibility.
As an associate professor you will be one of the driving forces to further develop research and teaching programmes in Business Administration. Combining teaching and research skills, you should be able to inspire students and conduct cutting-edge research on sustainable value chain management. You will teach in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Business Administration, conduct research in line with the Responsible Organisation programme, publish in international high-quality journals, attract external funding for research projects, acquire and supervise PhD projects, build international networks with businesses and academics, and contribute to the central and departmental administration and management tasks.

  • I would describe my first months at Radboud University as very positive, and I am excited to see what the future will bring me here.
