Job description

This tenure track position involves research activities in accounting, leading to publications in top-rated international journals. Educational duties will involve graduate (master’s and executive master’s), and undergraduate (bachelor’s) courses in the area of Financial Accounting.

Requirements

Candidates for this position should have a PhD (or be near completion) in Accounting. Candidates should have acquired teaching experience.


Conditions of employment

Tenure decisions are based on individual performance, principally in research and teaching. Following the new Dutch Collective Labor Agreement (CLA), you will automatically be tenured after 18 months on the condition of a positive evaluation. Annual teaching loads are comparable to those at the top European universities. Furthermore, significant research support is provided, such as WRDS, experimental lab, and individual research budgets.
