(Tenure track with focus on education: 60% teaching, 20% research, 20% organization and management)

The Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management invites candidates with a strong interest in innovative education for a Tenure Track position as an assistant professor of Methods for Policy Analysis.

You will focus on one or more of the following:
• problem structuring methods to enhance understanding of complex problem situations, e.g. cognitive mapping, causal modelling, actor network models
• modelling, simulation and/or game based methods to support decision making, e.g. System Dynamics modelling, Agent-based Modelling, gaming simulation

You will be part of the Policy Analysis group in the Department of Multi-Actor Systems at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. Policy analysis at TPM has its roots in systems analysis of socio-technical-environmental systems. The areas of application are water and delta systems, transport systems, urban systems, and health systems.

You will contribute to the group's teaching of courses and supervising students working on group and individual projects at the BSc level (e.g. policy analysis of multi-actor systems, bachelor capstone project) as well as at the MSc level. Although the main focus of this position will be on education, we do expect the candidate to contribute to the group's research and to conduct education related research.
