Offer Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach different courses at the Bachelor's programme and the Master's programmes of the unit (Social and Organisational Psychology; Economic and Consumer Psychology), and possibly participate in the unit's Knowledge Centre Psychology and Economic Behaviour.
  • Supervise students at different stages of the Bachelor's and Master's programmes (first year tutorials, Bachelor research project, Master thesis, Professional internship).
  • Participate in administrative and/or service activities.
  • Contribute to the research program of the unit with a focus on team science and application of insights in social, economic and organizational decision making.

Requirements
Candidates should have demonstrated their teaching abilities, and have experience with various types of teaching and supervision of students at different stages of their education. We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm for teaching and interest in further developing the teaching programmes of the unit. Candidates should meet the requirements set for a Basic Teaching Qualification (BKO) or be able to meet these requirements in the near future. They should have experience with quantitative research and obtained a PhD degree.

We offer a 12 months position, with the possibility of an extension and permanent appointment, depending on needs, proven suitability and available resources. Salary range from € 3,974.- to € 6,181.- gross per month on a full-time basis (pay scale 11 or 12), in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities). Candidates from outside the Netherlands may be eligible for a tax break.
