Are you a highly motivated and accomplished academic with expertise in the  Business, Management and Organisation domains, covering topics including strategic supply chain network, innovation management, entrepreneurship, strategic management and/or organisation theory? The Business management and Organisation Group (BMO) at Wageningen University and Research is looking for an enthusiastic Academic Teacher with expertise in the area of management and demonstrated ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting.
The successful candidate must have experience in academic teaching and a passion for conducting (applied) research in a relevant topic, with intellectual engagement at PhD level.
In this challenging career trajectory you will:
  • Enhance education in the area of management .
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching programs for Bachelor’s and Master’s students.
  • Supervise Bachelor's and Master's thesis students.
  • Maintain close links across the Wageningen campus and between disciplines.
  • Engage in academic research in relevant topics.

Requirements
To further strengthen BMO and its part in food quality management your profile should have:
  • PhD degree in a relevant BMO discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Open-mindedness to explore the BMO group-related fields of interest such as sustainability and entrepreneurship.
  • Relevant and well-evaluated teaching experience and supervision of MSc / BSc students.
  • Affinity with or passion for conducting (applied) research in a relevant discipline.
  • Qualitative and quantitative research method skills.
  • Team spirit and a willingness to contribute to the wider interests of the group.

Conditions of employment

In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, we offer a competitive gross salary of between € 2960 and €4670 for a full-time working week of 38 hours in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreements for Dutch Universities (CAO) (scale 10).
Note that the position can be part-time or full-time.
