About the recruiting Entity :

The Moroccan Center for Game Theory is a multi-disciplinary international laboratory dedicated to advancing scientific research in game theory and its various applications. It will launch a PhD program "Game Theory in Mathematics, Economics, and Computation" in October 2024 in partnership with an international team of world-renowned professors. The center will organize research seminars, winter schools and international conferences to promote knowledge exchange and collaborations in the field.

Job Description:

The Moroccan Center for Game Theory recently established at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) in Rabat, Morocco is seeking candidates for academic positions specializing in game theory, including areas such as multi-agent learning, stochastic games, mean-field games, algorithmic game theory, (computational) social choice, industrial organization, or market design. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the center's research and educational endeavors.

Qualifications of the candidate:

• Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics Theory, with a focus on game theory or social choice theory.
• Strong track record of publications in reputable journals and conferences.
• Experience in teaching and supervising graduate students and post-doctoral researchers is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with international colleagues.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
