About the 4D CELL Biology Laboratory

The mission of the 4D Computer Science Engineering Lattice Light-Sheet (CELL) Biology Laboratory is to accelerate the advent of 4D high-content screening in live tissues.

The lab is located at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) which is consistently ranked among the top global universities in Cell Biology, Pharmacology, and Neurosciences .

Known as Biotech Beach , San Diego is known as a hub for biotechnology and medical innovations . Opportunities for cross-training and networking are enormous with several top-rank institutions (UCSD, Salk, Sanford Burnham Prebys, and La Jolla Allergy and Immunology), top-ranked hospitals, and biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in the immediate neighborhood.
