Your Role...

The successful candidate will join the SERVAL research group, led by Prof. Yves Le Traon.

The position holder will be building the bones of a new software testing solution and making decisions that will control the trajectory of the product. As such, he will be required to perform the following tasks/will do research on the following topics:

  • Contribute to the realization and the packaging of Software Testing solution.
  • In collaboration with the Tech Lead, analyze non-functional requirements, and automate steps up to obtaining seamless delivery pipelines, ensuring non-regression, performance, robustness, and reliability.
  • Take full ownership of the implementation of this solution, up to its deployment.
  • Stay up to date with innovative technologies, practices, and tools.
  • Upskill the members of your team by sharing solutions and best practices and stay up to date with project progress.
  • Contribute to our growth and our continuous improvement.

Your Profile...

Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field, or equivalent knowledge in the field.
  • Deep understanding of software development, from software architecture to clean code.
  • Strong expertise in Java / Spring boot development or equivalent technology stack.
  • Development skills with attention to acute design, detailed implementation and committed delivery deadlines.
  • Display team spirit and collaboration mindset, ease in integration into a multi-cultural co-creative environment.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ work experience in development and maintenance of applications and systems.
  • Experience in software development or system integration using APIs and tools or specifications like OpenAPI, Swagger.
  • Experience in using or integrating test frameworks like Junit, Cucumber or any other equivalent.
  • Experience in scripting languages like Bash / Python or any other equivalent.
  • Experience using ReactJs, VueJs or any other frontend development framework is considered an advantage.
  • Experience using graph database such as Neo4J is considered an advantage.

Language Skills:
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
