The University of Luxembourg, through its Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine, aims for excellence in biomedical research and training. Building on a tradition of teaching the first year of medicine, the University has opened a Bachelor of Medicine curriculum in 2020. Three curricula leading to diplomas in specialized studies in oncology, neurology and general medicine have been launched in September 2021.

The training of medical specialists in clinical oncology will be carried out in collaboration with four hospitals, two of which are located in Luxembourg-City (Center Hospitalier de Luxembourg - CHL and Hôpitaux Robert Schuman - HRS), one in Esch-sur-Alzette near the Campus Belval de l 'University (Center Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch - CHEM), and one in Ettelbruck in the north of the country (Center Hospitalier du Nord - CHdN), as well as with the network of general practitioners for training in general medicine.

In this context, the University is recruiting a Professor of Clinical Medicine - Medical Oncology (Full Professor or Associate Professor (promotion track)).
