Within the University, the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) is a highly interdisciplinary researchcentre (IC), integrating experimental biology and computational biology approaches in order to develop the foundation of a future predictive, preventive and personalized medicine.

The Enzymology & Metabolism Research Group at the LCSB is looking to hire a highly motivated and talented laboratory technician. The main tasks of the technician include DNA/RNA/protein/metabolite/lipid extraction from cells, biofluids and tissues; maintenance, cultivation and genetic manipulation of diverse cell types including stem cells; immunocytochemistry staining; microscopy; immunoblotting techniques; diverse molecular biology techniques (cloning, bacteria transformation, PCR, sample preparation for DNA sequencing, quantitative real-time PCR, etc.), sample organization and storage, sample preparation, sample measurement, and standard data analysis, in addition to general lab maintenance and duties as well as reagent and supply ordering.
