The Pluripotency for organ regeneration Group is looking for a Technician to develop his/her project on the fabrication of strategies for cardiac engineering. The contract will be within the framework of “Biofabricación avanzada multifunción en 3D para la generación de tejido cardiaco terapéutico a escala humana diseñado por ordenador (CARDIOPRINT)” Project, (PLEC2021-008127/AEI/ 10.13039/501100011033).

Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:
- Generation of cardiac reporter cell lines from human pluripotent stem cells
- Generation of cardiac cells for the assembly of cardiac constructs
- Implementation of cardiac engineered cells into microfluidic devices to model disease.
Requirements for candidates:
- Expertise, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, biology, electrical engineering, or similar areas
- Previous experience in human pluripotent stem cells manipulation (cell culture, differentiation and genome editing).
- Previous experience in the use of microfluidic systems to steer human pluripotent stem cells differentiation will be very positively evaluated.
- Competencies and skills: Excellent communication and teamworking skills, proactivity, commitment, critical and analytical thinking
- High level of English
