JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a senior associate to the Institute’s Director to support our strategic initiatives. He/she will be a senior strategist and resourceful team-player, who is comfortable working sometimes under pressure while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. He/she will have strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills, and an attitude to handle complex information with accuracy, rigor and confidentiality. His/her main tasks will be:

• Developing and coordinating different strategic initiatives, with an initial focus on actions related to the definition and development of the program “Quantica Valley”.
• Work closely with the Institute’s Director in the definition and implementation of the institutional strategic related to the initiatives he/she is assigned.
• Monitoring, reporting and promoting results of the initiatives.
• Working with various internal teams and with external contractors in order to advance the assigned initiatives.
• Engaging a variety of national and international institutional stakeholders relevant to the assigned initiatives.
• Proactively organizing and attending events and activities related to strengthen the links between ICFO and different stakeholders relevant for the assigned initiatives.
