A Postdoctoral position is available in the group of Dr. Sofia Masi at the Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM; www.inam.uji.es ) at the Universidad de Jaume I in the framework of the MINISTERIO DE CIENCIA E INNOVACIÓN project She-LED.

The postdoc position is available as part of She-LED project, with Dr. Sofia Masi as Principal Investigator. The objective of the project She-LED is the combination of perovskite core, inorganic shell and organic ligands, to stabilze perovskite not stable at ambient temperature. She-LED as multidisciplinary project, proposes the development of core/shell PQDs materials heterostructures with a fully inorganic shell, not yet reported, by bilateral heteroepitaxial matching of the cubic phase materials. The role in the stabilization of the fully inorganic shell and of the ligand will be studied, towards the application of these materials in stable and efficient light emitting diodes (LEDs). It is expected that the results will produce a great scientific impact in the halide perovskite community as the stability in humid conditions and in water of the perovskite is yearned to broad its application.

The project requires a multidisciplinary approach from the synthesis of perovskite with tailored properties to the structural, chemical and optoelectronic characterization of materials and final devices. We encourage applications from researchers with high-level skills directly relevant to the synthesis and characterization of these kind of materials and optoelectronic devices prepared with them who can make a strong contribution to the project.
