Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department ofChemistry (Ref.: 516010), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or equivalent, and a strong background in organic chemistry and its application to the design and synthesis of organic molecular, and polymeric materials research.  They should have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, good organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently, and be creative and self-motivated.  Experience in column chromatography, GPC, HPLC, NMR and HRMS (MALDI-TOF and ESI) would be desirable.  The appointee will be expected to work in a dynamic, diverse and forward-thinking department with an international working environment.  He/She will work under the supervision of Dr. Junzhi Liu.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Dr. Junzhi Liu at [email protected] .
