Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (3 posts) in the Department ofChemistry (Ref.: 511680), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or equivalent, with a strong research background in Chemical Biology, Organic Synthesis, or Biochemistry, or AI/Deep learning on proteins.  They should have fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational skills, leadership skills, the ability to work independently, and be self-motivated.  The appointee will work on the research areas of “Protein chemical synthesis and modification”, “Chemical biology and Biochemistry” and “Protein design” under the supervision of Professor X.C. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
