The Big Data Engineering Lab (Onizuka Lab) is engaged in research related to big data engineering. A specific research topic currently underway is (B) distributed query optimization. We are looking for human resources who can contribute great progress in research with a flexible mind. We welcome inquiries about research content and policies.

Research and development in (B) including supervising students.
Specifically, (B) In a cloud environment utilizing multiple servers, we aim to develop optimization techniques for distributed query processing by leveraging mathematical optimization methods. This approach comprehensively handles various aspects such as query response time, throughput, load balancing among servers, CPU load, and memory usage of each server in distributed database query processing.
