Senior Lead, RLT Medical

Job Purpose

To maximize patient access to Novartis RLT medicines in Japan, to contribute to strategic enterprise leadership of Medical Japan and to supervise (Senior) Medical Leads in Solid Tumor Medical.

Major Accountabilities

Accountable for TA Strategy
 Single point of accountability for medical impact for assigned disease areas and brands, as measured by target patient outcome
 Ensure optimal execution (including necessary local adaptation) of global brand medical strategy
 Drive deep understanding of customer (patient, HCP, HCS) needs, and act on them
 Be a strategic thought partner to corresponding Japan commercial lead ensuring seamless delivery for customers
 Develop and maintain necessary personal and group connections with local and global stakeholders to ensure robust representation of the need of Japanese customers

Accountable for Local Integrated Evidence generation plan
Accountable for protocol creation,excution and publication of local evidence generation projects
 Develop local integrated evidence generation plan to ensure identification of Japan evidence gaps to be filled by the time of launch
 (For RWE-SUD Study) Develop study protocol, execute and disseminate study results to achieve TA strategy
 (For PDC study) Develop study protocol/dissemination plan and excute dissemination plan to achieve TA strategy

Lead TA training
 Efficient and high-scientific TA training for MSL/Functions

Minimum Requirements

Background

• Advanced science degree (MD, PhD, PharmD etc)
• Strategic thinking, synthesizing science and business
• Innovative mindset - not satisfied with status quo
• Advocacy for what medical can contribute, combined with understanding of other stakeholders’ needs
• Fluent in English (business level)
